About Us
Gretchen started riding western at an early age before switching to dressage in middle school. While at Oklahoma State University, she was a member of the National Champion horse judging team and the NCAA equestrian team. After 16 year break, Gretchen returned to riding, specifically dressage, over 10 years ago. She owns and shows her gelding, Theodore Roosevelt.
When Gretchen is not teaching high school science or riding, she is living her childhood (and adulthood) dream of horses and fashion. When not on the road with the shop, Gretchen hosts a weekly Facebook Live Show on the Salado Creek Tack Shop Facebook page on Wednesday evenings and two Sundays a month. This is where she introduces new brands, products, offers product reviews and the occasional discount on items that we refer to as "Gretchen Math".
